…PACIFIC STORM WILL BRING TO WESTERN THIS AFTERNOON
THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING…

.A PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW TO THE
WESTERN MOUNTAINS AND VALLEYS THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH MONDAY
MORNING BEFORE TAPERING OFF AND MOVING EAST OF THE CONTINENTAL
DIVIDE. THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED IN THE TETONS AND SOUTHWEST
PORTIONS OF YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK.

…WINTER WEATHER REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM MST
SUNDAY…

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM MST
SUNDAY.

* SUMMARY AND TIMING…SNOW WILL INCREASE IN INTENSITY DURING THE
AFTERNOON HOURS. SNOW SHOULD LAST INTO THE MORNING SUNDAY BEFORE
TAPERING OFF.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS…5 TO 10 INCHES IN THE TETONS WITH 3 TO 6
INCHES IN JACKSON VALLEY. THE HIGHER AMOUNTS SHOULD BE
CONFINED TO THE NORTHERN END OF THE VALLEY.

* WIND AND VISIBILITY…10 TO 15 MPH WITH VISIBILITY UNDER ONE
HALF MILE AT TIMES.

* IMPACTS…ROADS MAY BECOME SNOW PACKED AND SLICK. HAZARDOUS
TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED…PARTICULARLY OVER TETON PASS.
