A week ago the Village had 2 lifts and 7 trails open. It was a slow start to a season in which nearly every storm had brought rain to town and the lower elevations badly needed snow. Everything changed on Saturday as a storm rolled through and blanked the upper elevations with 21″ of 5% density snow, allowing the Tram, Thunder and Sublette to open for the first time all season. Despite a wait for the first box in excess of 4 hours, the skiing was nothing short of All Time. Here’s a glimpse…
